The bogey man
A revoltingly funny rhyme about a stubborn bogey, an unfortunate mouthful and the terrifying possibility that Uncle is turning into a bogeyman.
LAUGH & GROSS
1 min read

There’s a green and slimy bogey hanging out my uncle's nose,
I see it going in and out, it wriggles and it grows.
It’s been hanging there for days now, and when my uncle sighs
it squiggles and it waves at us, then hides as though its shy.
My brother thinks its funny, I thought that it was too,
until last night at dinner when my uncle had some stew.
Then that slimy goopy, bogey made a plunge towards his plate.
I tried to save my Uncle but my warning came too late.
The bogey disappeared inside my uncle’s hungry bite,
I could barely eat at all, I worried all last night.
If my uncle swallows bogeys do you that its his plan?
Will my uncle slowly turn into a scary bogeyman?
